Environmentally and ethically conscious?

Millions of tonnes of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment are discarded every year across Europe. Some waste, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) contains hazardous substances such as mercury, lead and cadmium, which are all highly toxic and damaging to the environment.

The new environmental WEEE legislation, which came into force in 2013 aims to cut landfill by approximately 250,000 Tonnes per year and ensure that, upon equipment disposal, hazardous materials are dealt with in the appropriate manner so as not to harm the environment.

  • You and your business could face criminal prosecution, unlimited fines and significant adverse publicity if you fail to meet WEEE regulations.  GreenWorld surpasses all current regulations and has done since its inception. We’re a licensed WEEE carrier and fully committed to a stringent environmental policy.
